CHARLOTTE–Robert Hollis has been named the new men’s head basketball coach at West Mecklenburg High School, according to a report in The Charlotte Observer.

         Hollis has been the women’s basketball coach but moved over to coach the men’s program. He will be the third coach for the West Meck program in the last three years.

         Hollis will replace William Blackburn as the men’s coach.  Hollis coached the West Mecklenburg women to a record of 12-12 last year.
